Making a Difference
A Message from your Sisterhood President
On August 4th, we have scheduled our first 2016 Board meeting which include incumbent and newly installed officers and trustees. Our agenda will include standard projects such as future fundraising events and dynamic programs with featured guests. This year we have an added focus. We are planning for the upcoming Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) Pacific District Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada meeting this November. One of our own Congregation Albert members, Judie Ning, will be installed as President of the Pacific District. We are extremely proud of Judie’s distinguished accomplishments and look forward to supporting her by sending up to 10 Sisterhood members to attend the convention.
We are currently launching our annual membership drive. Watch for your brochure and application to arrive in the mail. We hope that you will join or rejoin. Please know that our Sisterhood organization is the glue that keeps Jewish women together and promotes and maintains a closer friendship and interaction among its members.
I look forward to a very positive year and welcome new ideas and hopefully new faces.
Jorgie Winsberg, President
