About Us
Congregation Albert is a Reform Synagogue
Albuquerque’s Congregation Albert, founded in 1897, is the oldest continuing Jewish organization in New Mexico. For more than 125 years, members of Congregation Albert have shared each other’s sweetest joys, and comforted one another during times of sorrow.
We are a diverse, inclusive, and equitable community, where we accept and affirm all individuals and families, including Jews of color, interfaith families, LGBTQI+ folks, and people of all political affiliations.
The essence of who we are - our sense of spirituality, the warmth, love, and openness of our congregational community, and what makes us proud to call Congregation Albert an extension of our Jewish homes - can only be captured by meeting us, joining us in prayer, and allowing us to get to know you.
Please make the time to join us for Friday evening service at 6:00 PM or Saturday morning service at 10:30 AM. When you do, be sure to introduce yourself to us. Once you experience the essence of our community, we’re confident you will choose Congregation Albert as your spiritual home.
